Scion:Lions of War

It Ends Tonight

When Blue And White Lights Up The Night

Since Scion ended a bit late, I decided I should give an actual ending feeling to it. Josh tried to do that, but by that point the groups split up and people were gathering their things. So without further ado…

As rays of sun begin to shine over the Happy Valley, the antidote bomb is delivered to the Astral Portal in Beaver Stadium. Moments later in Beaver Stadium, the Scions within said portal run out of it. Then a powerful explosion rocks the stadium, leaving blue and white fireworks to drown out the screams of agony that wrack the bodies of those who used the Ascension drug. The day is won. Questions remain though, what happened to the Nittany Lion? What about this First Tome he warned about?

John sits down on the AstroTurf, sweating mixing with the blood and grit of a battle hard fought. He feels like he’s been torn to shreds, hastily pasted back together, and torn again. The headband, torn from a ragged and burned shirt practically disintegrates when he pulls if from his head. “What did I say about today being a day that defines us? When I’m right, I’m right.”

Mac lays there on the field, burned, battered and soaked in blood both from himself and his enemies. He lays silently as he tries to focus on breathing and push his thoughts towards getting up off the ground.

After watching the stands closely for snipers, Ammon moves to help any of his injured allies with the small amount of medical knowledge he has. John had been right. It certainly wasn’t a day they were soon to forget.
